How to Upload Photos for Real
Estate Business Cards:
WE'RE
HERE TO HELP. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR PHOTOS AFTER READING THIS,
CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
WE'LL TRY OUR BEST TO ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS. First,
make sure the photo you want to use for your real estate business cards
is large enough to print well.
Print media requires a very high resolution. Your photo should meet
one of the following criteria;
The photo should have a resolution of 300 dpi at 2 inches tall, or should
be 6 inches tall at 100 dpi, or should be roughly big enough to almost
fill your computer screen top to bottom, when viewed at full size.
Don't send little photos from your website, they simply are not big
enough and your real estate business cards will not look professional
if we don't have a good photo to start with.
If you're sending a photo to cover the entire background of your real
estate business cards, make sure that it at least resembles the dimensions
of a business card. Real estate business cards are a rectangular 3.5"
wide x 2" tall (or vice versa). If your photo is a square with
no room to crop off the top or bottom, you will have white space on
the sides. For instance, if your photo for real estate business cards
is a square photo of a house, it would need plenty of sky above the
house and/or yard below the house that we could crop away to make the
square into a rectangle. Secondly,
the photo for your real estate business cards should be sharp, clear
and in focus. We can fix some color and lighting problems, but the
better the original photo looks, the better your real estate business
cards will look. Lastly, the file type for real estate business card photos should
be a .jpg or .tiff image. If you're sending Logos or other graphics
for you real estate business cards, the same general principles apply.
Logos can usually be a bit smaller than the photos for real estate business
cards, but you still want to make sure that they're nice and big (higher
resolution than website graphics) and that they are clean images that
don't appear blurry or distorted when viewed at full size. File types for real estate logos can be .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .pdf or
.eps.
Ideally, your real estate logo should be CMYK color mode. If you logo
was designed in RGB, there may be significant color difference when
printed, particularly with greens and blues. Many logos that were designed
for real estate websites were created in RGB color mode and may need
to be re-created from scratch to get the proper color. If you are unfamiliar
with the color mode terminology, ask the person that created the logo
about the color mode. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT SENDING YOUR
